@PeteKadar Agree. The crazy thing with starting pitching is that it seems to be the bright spot of this organization year after year which is great. All we need now is to just be able to develop hitters in our minor league system if we are afraid to go out and spend money.

@nickyp422 Their budgetary constraints prevent them for having a moderately deep lineup. In order to make the numbers work the Pirates will always have 4 budget guys in the lineup. Perhaps the Bullpen will also be sparse. They do have good starting Pitching but for how much longer?

O'Hearn and Lowe have looked good. This lineup was pegged to put the Pirates in the mix... It's not going to work out that way.

The buccos are just known to drop 10 games in a row sometimes, which they usually have that. He just doesn’t want to see them do that early in the season

I thought he was going to turn it around when he was on that hitting streak, but he’s another one who has gone cold. Hopefully he turns it around, but we will see. I wish they got some more guys for the bullpen in the offseason.

I would rather see him have his struggles now early in his career than having him just mash AAA pitchers for a little longer down there.
