Had to say goodbye to this beautiful lady today. She had a great afternoon on the deck, soaking up the sunshine. More treats than she could handle. And three humans catering to her every whim. She was a lovely cat - curious and affectionate and smart. We will miss her.

Friends, we're ok I'm working remotely today My cheek is swollen after yesterday’s implant surgery - it’s normal I can barely eat: implants on one side, a crumbling temporary filling on the other But it's ok, I can handle it Glad I did it yesterday - time wasn’t on my side🙏

Friends, Today is yet another day of war. I wrote yet another post about 23-year-old Yuliia, who died while saving people. I write about war every day. Sometimes I feel like I can't do it anymore. That I can't bear to broadcast all this grief. Honestly, sometimes I want to close all my social media accounts and never open them again. But I'm here again, and I'm writing. About pain, about loss, about hope, about what needs to be done to end this war with lasting peace. Otherwise, it would be a betrayal of everyone who is fighting, of all my people who have died. Friends, how are you? How are you holding up with all of this? You are far from the war. What keeps you reading about us? What do you feel? I would really like to hear from you. I spent the weekend on a workshop with Mosaic artist Catherine Van Giap. You can find her on Instagram. Had a great time creating this Iris which I finished at home and grouted today. I really enjoyed the glass sections then working with the matt tiles as background. Happy days.
