2/2 Taylor says this is why the police chief said on Thursday Sept 16th that he knew where Brian Laundrie was, when in fact he didn't.

1/2 North Port Police PIO Josh Taylor says officers thought they saw Brian Laundrie coming home in the Mustang Wednesday Sept. 15 -- but it was actually his mom Roberta. Taylor tells me because Roberta was wearing a baseball cap, officers were confused and made the mistake.

@BrianEntin Brian did you see him leave? Were you guys camped outside at that time?

Here is our interview with North Port Police today. They say it was a coincidence the Laundrie parents found the personal items in the reserve. Brian was not followed to the reserve. “We missed him going out there.” And they believe a cause of death will eventually be determined.

@BabyLyssaC I can’t imagine they feel even if they did their job properly. It’s a huge thing to carry. I feel for everyone involved in this

If you get over served at a bar and die in a car accident the bartender can be charged with manslaughter. Why?….Because you didn’t do your job properly. IMO- Neither did the traffic stop police.
