There is a shocking new trend that involves explicitly teaching things that we want students to know. It just might work! See: Science of Reading, Writing Revolution...It beats the previous method, which involved throwing spaghetti at the wall.

And a police car! And electric cars! And dump trucks and tractors and backhoes and... Literally an entire lifesize Matchbox collection!#QuestarIII

Today #QuestarIII programs will mark the 9/11 anniversary in a variety of ways depending on the age and context of the program. Though our students were not alive to experience it, the echoes of that day will reverberate well into the future.

Retrospectively, growing up poor and not being able to afford any entertainment besides borrowing books from the public library was a competitive advantage and the bigger part of the education you needed.

@AlbanyAirport have currently been in line for TSA for an hour. Hasn't moved and we are still on the ground floor. We are all probably going to miss our flights.
