Fantastic trade union play, so much richer than Made in Dagenham, tens of thousands of women out on strike, lots of secondary action and a lot of the cast were women who were part of the strike. As a Harehills lad I remember it vividly. @LeedsNews @TUCLeeds

🚨🇨🇺There are no words to describe how much pride comes with being Cuban right now! In the midst of a full oil blockade from the U.S., a sea of Cubans show up to one of the biggest public Marches in the year.

‼️🚨: A Chelsea supporter was racially abused and had monkey gestures made towards her by a Leeds fan during the FA Cup semifinal. Disgraceful behaviour. RT and spread this tweet so we can identify their hatred and get them banned. Anyone can help kick evil people out of football - let’s stand by this proud Chelsea supporter and help her out. @kickitout @FA @ChelseaFC @LUFC @premierleague @MPSChelseaFC @SRTRC_England @ChelseaWomenSG

@NigelUNI I could never understand why Leeds lost out on the title so much. They were the best team from 1968 to 1974.

1 May 1965. Liverpool beat Leeds United 2-1 after extra time to win the FA Cup Final for the 1st time. The winning goal was scored by Ian St John. It was Liverpool’s 3rd final after losing in 1914 and 1950. Leeds Utd were appearing in their 1st final.
