Y2K-inspired clothes in modern stores will never actually be of the same standard as clothes made in Y2K, not because of the styling, but because clothes made today are not designed to last more than a few wears. You will find ‘vintage’ Y2K but I don’t foresee ‘vintage ‘26’.

@starlisas @nightgalen I think some ppl would rather prefer the original design than the new one. Mostly cuz remakes in the 2020’s have been garbage and they haven’t respected the source material. I’d love a silent 1, 3 and 4 remake by bloober team. They did a phenomenal job with 2’s remake imo!

@JasonJohnson159 I feel like this is a reach. I liked it — to each their own! Censorship seems a little silly given the way some of the monsters, etc. maintained their appearance.

@nightgalen no one liked that, it set the internet on fire for a few days. what they did, was basically hold up the original cosplay outfit, wave it around in everyone's face, and then not include it.
what they were going for? was censorship for Sony's console.
