Just got off the phone with my sister in #Damascus—she described chaos in the streets. People are frantically rushing to stock up on food and essentials. Many shops are closing, and key items are already out of stock. No one knows what’s happening, and there’s no official explanation. People inside Syria are now turning to those of us abroad, asking us to tell them what’s going on and what’s coming next. #Syria
