Now our children will get to read about our own tribal heroes of Arunachal Pradesh. Released a book today ‘Heroes of Arunachal Pradesh’ on the occasion of #ConstitutionDay. The book will be taught in the government schools of the State for Class VI-VII.

Realising that teaching need not be bounded by books & blackboards, a teacher and SMC Chairperson from GPS, 14 Mile, created numbers with bamboo to make maths learning more tactile and engaging. Students were curious and enjoyed the activity.

As a part of pilot project, under Mission Shiksha, SMC members and teachers were acquainted with Shaala Siddhi and asked to self-review their schools. During that process, this teacher recognised that he could use innovative learning methods to keep the students engaged.
