R is dying, if you don't believe me look at THE main conformal prediction library. When writing my book 'Practical Guide to Applied Conformal Prediction: Learn and apply the best uncertainty frameworks to your industry applications' a.co/d/eteo5Ym I have run a poll asking data scientists and others whether they use Python or R for their work. The results came overwhelmingly in favour of Python, R was less than 20% and mostly academics. The same trend is happening in many areas also in time series and forecasting. I have been using R since 2012 and it is sad, but the trends are clear and irreversible. You can still find R section on Awesome Conformal Prediction but unlike Python section it is not growing as there are hardly any new libraries. Python vs R for time-series forecasting lnkd.in/eEpmJSzf The best bet for this library is to port everything that is still missing in Python into most popular libraries like MAPIE and Amazon Fortuna. #python #datascientists #R
