With Mine, Alya reacted instinctively. She saw something , felt hurt, and withdrew instead of confronting. That moment was about insecurity and unfamiliarity with Cihan’s world, she didn’t yet fully trust what they had, or her place in it since there had been no confession and both were hiding their feelings. If Alya is to witness similar with Meryem, it’s a completely different emotional context. Meryem isn’t a random woman, she’s tied to Cihan’s past and Alya already knows the history there. But, most importantly, Alya now understands Cihan’s love on a much deeper level. So if Alya were to react the same way again (running away, shutting down), it would feel like no character progression. To me, what could happen and what would make the writing stronger is Alya asking Cihan immediately. It doesn’t have to be a jealousy driven dramatic way, but in a controlled way. This change in approach would show that she’s no longer afraid of the truth, that she sees herself as someone who has the right to ask and that she trusts Cihan enough even while physically distant. Instead of Alya being the one who runs, Cihan is the one who has to explain. #UzakŞehir x.com/_Angel966/stat…
