@peter_szilagyi @eccentricexit Can vouch for smile. Happy with results few years in. Painless procedure but def not without discomfort. Akin to wearing contacts wrong/dust in eye that you can’t rub. Would leave few days extra for full recovery.

@eccentricexit Yes, PRK is a bit brutal. Nowadays they recommend one called SMILE where they burn s piece of cornea inside the lens and pull it out through a small incision. Probably less shocking to the eye.

Somewhat of a personal question. Was thinking about getting a laser eye surgery for correcting my -2.5 sight. Doctors say my eyes are in a good shape to do such a procedure, but I'm wondering if anyone has any experience and if it's something you'd recommend or not?
