@Chandler_Rome @guerrero72_alex Own up to the reality of the situation, its not like we’re going to believe him about “turning the corner” anyway
English

@guerrero72_alex I get the frustration, but what do you want him to say?
English

@Chandler_Rome @AltuveStan27 Ask him where that “urgency” he was talking about was?
English

@AltuveEnjoyer 4-3 or 3-4, there is a world where we can go 2-5 easily tho
English

@Mason_King2 @MLBNerds Maybe not much bigger but I think it’s going to have more pitching/infield prospects than outfield. Sheehan is the only player I think would catch there. I think the brewers are a much more likely landing spot
English

@nikko___22 @MLBNerds Probably not. He doesn’t have a ton of control left and this is gargantuan package already
English

@AstrosKnower Our longest winning streak this season is 5 in a row which was in the first week of the season. Since then we’ve only won two in a row twice.
English

@SanAntonioTim So do you think it’s been more mismanagement of resources these past few years? You have a point most players who have left all decline after they left.
English

@nikko___22 He extended Altuve 3x, Pressly and JV 2x, Bregman, Yordan, LMJ, and Javier. It’s best to let other teams pay high dollars for the declining years of a player.
English

@SanAntonioTim Yeah actually right, worked out perfectly up until everyone’s contract was expiring around the same time. Resigning some of those players would’ve definitely extended the window though.
English

@nikko___22 On the contrary, not doing long term deals is why the golden era lasted longer than most MLB runs. It didn’t bog down the team with onerous contracts on aging players.
English

@RobbieTomicic @Tiquegonzalez17 @Chandler_Rome Yeah my bad I forgot cole was brought up after someone was dfa’d so there is a spot open
English

@nikko___22 @Tiquegonzalez17 @Chandler_Rome Yeah but they sent Whitcomb down to open up a spot for Salazar, someone who goes on the IL has to be replaced by someone else on the active roster
English

@SanAntonioTim @Tiquegonzalez17 @Chandler_Rome Yeah you’re right, theres a spot open because they dfa’d someone for cole 🫡
English

@nikko___22 @Tiquegonzalez17 @Chandler_Rome Yes, but Whitcomb was optioned for that move. If Yainer goes on the IL that frees up another roster spot.
English

@Tiquegonzalez17 @Chandler_Rome Already called up salazar as a backup catcher

@DDelgattoNFL I’m sorry but I immediately thought of you after his homer, what a jinx 🫡
English

I would love if he proves me wrong
I just don't think he will ever be what most people THINK he can be.
Dylan Delgatto@DDelgattoNFL
This is who Brice Matthews is and will be in the majors. He's not an everyday guy. He's a late game defensive substitute. I don't know if I was the only one who saw this coming from a mile away... When Meyers, Loperfido and Dezenzo are back, Brice has little reason to play often. Really worried about Dana being in charge of this draft...
English

@CrushCityShow @Chandler_Rome Thats a hard thing to assume because no other team has had as many injuries as the Astros and let alone to core pieces of their team
English

"Other teams in baseball are just more equipped to deal with injuries than the Astros currently are."
@Chandler_Rome says the series against the Yankees showcased one of Houston's biggest flaws.
English

@DDelgattoNFL Thank you! Peace think firing joe or members of the staff is going magically make this team better, its not. This is what happens when you cheap out in the offseason and don’t make the team better
English

I don't think Miller is the one to blame.
The last couple of years, he is single-handedly made our pitching staff better. He has turned random guys into serviceable arms.
I think this season is an issue of the front office poorly building a team
Michael Schwab@michaelschwab13
It baffles me that Josh Miller is still the pitching coach for the Astros. This pitching staff has no plan and is completely unstable. The inconsistency, the walks, the bullpen usage and choices, it’s been a complete disaster. Hitting has been good. Pitching horrible
