I kept reading that the long-term health effects of tear gas and pepper spray were poorly understood.
But in my reporting, I learned that there are clues that these chemicals can continue affecting us long after the tears stop.

To put that another way, @Society4Science CEO @MayaAjmera's compensation rose by 14% in 2022 and 10% in 2023. Meanwhile, our employees saw annual raises of around 3% (many received less), which lagged behind rising costs-of-living. How is that fair?
