@andreasklinger Entanglement may be the “some reason”. Separation of interests w/ VC is less distracting to existing business than an in-house effort. It’s one thing to risk money. It’s another to risk the moneymaker.

It's funny how overlooked acquisitions and venture studios still are. Acquiring companies (or building them in-house if you can't find something to acquire) might be the next big trend. But for some reason everyone is still looking at classic VC models 👀
