Following ongoing issues at POW with rain water entering through the roof, a survey has identified more serious damage that will require an extensive programme of repair. We are exploring all options to provide care in a safe environment.

All hospital sites in Wales are smoke free by law. This applies to everyone, including staff, patients, visitors and contractors. Smoke free hospital grounds are an important part of protecting our staff, patients and becoming a smoke free nation. @HelpMeQuitWales

Our emergency departments at RGH, PCH and POW are exceptionally busy today. The most seriously injured and ill patients are being prioritised. This means that, even if you are there before someone else, if you have a less serious condition, you will likely face an extended wait.
