🔴 My anger at the German public broadcaster (ÖRR) could not be greater. Look at the many manipulation techniques packed into this short Instagram reel. They are truly masters of spreading regime propaganda. 1. The attack on the Crown Prince @PahlaviReza is mentioned at the beginning - but what was cut out? How calmly he reacted to the attack. They wanted to prevent the German audience from feeling sympathy for him, as they did for Trump after the assassination attempt on him. 2. They claim that only hundreds of people showed up in his support. Even the Berlin police speak of nearly 10,000 - I assume it was many times more. They deliberately show a scene of an empty field, far away from the actual crowd. They do not want the German audience - like after Munich with 250.000 people - to realize how large his support really is. 3. They consistently refer to him as the “Shah’s son.” I wrote the following analysis on why they do this: “They call him ‘Shah’s son,’ reducing his entire person, work, and identity to his father, so that in every interview and every day they can ask: ‘But do you distance yourself from your father’s actions?’ They think this is their big gotcha moment. The Crown Prince, however, faces the following dilemma: If he says yes, he admits to actions his father never committed and that never took place. If he says no - before those alleged actions have been internationally disproven - he himself is labeled a dictator. It is a perverse, left-intellectual game in which there is no winning. The Crown Prince tries, as best as he can, not to engage in this game verbally and to avoid the trap.” 4. Regarding the press conference, which lasted an hour, they begin by claiming he does not distance himself from his father’s "brutal monarchy". This is simply asserted without any evidence. 5.
