Also, relocation services feel like a wave of calls each ending with "I will let our service provider contact you in the upcoming days." Like when is someone actually going to do something instead of kicking it to another subcontractor?

Ich kann die Frust der Postdocs über das #WissZeitVG und den Wunsch nach Perspektive sehr gut nachvollziehen. Was ich nicht verstehe ist warum vom Bund erwartet wird die Lehrstellen der Länder zu bezahlen anhand von Drittmitteln. Verstößt das nicht gegen die Verfassung?

@academic_exit It took half a year to try again but reflecting helped me understand a lot about failure and success and myself. In the end, I gained self confidence, resilience, empathy for group dynamics and leadership sensitivity. You can learn more from failure then from success imo.

I don't know who needs to hear this, but if you're in a toxic workplace, it's ok for you to leave. You have the strength to heal from the damage done by this workplace & find something new. Commenters, back me up: raise your hand if you have walked away from a toxic workplace.
