Kicked off our PK–1 PD series - Structured Talk! We aligned our vision for early language needs by reviewing 2nd grade TELPAS questions and identifying the skills we must build now to support success in grades 2–5. Thank you Ms. Jaimes for leading the way!

Our students are now on the lookout to “get caught” reading. So many students I see book in hand at lunch coyly asking me, “Ms. Tavilson, have you seen Officer Medina??” @sbisdpd

At Hollibrook recess, we see 4th grade scientists outside of class time designing and conducting their own research. Problem: does sound travel and how through underground storm drainage passages.
