@MikeAnitori @TomasTroncosoJr I am fine with Triolo at SS for a month or two. The bigger issue for me is missing on all free agents at 3B. Triolo can definitely handle himself defensively at SS, and I could live with not much offense there if you woulda got offense at 3B.

@niskach @TomasTroncosoJr It may be the correct decision for his development, but Cherington’s inability to formulate a feasible “Plan B” is negligence. Even w/no AAA experience & flaws in his game, Griffin is still a better SS option than anybody on the current 26-man; & that’s coming from a Triolo fan.

@hoopsnut351 RMU is the 2 seed, but Lovejoy is definitely solid.

In the era of the transfer portal, it’s always a surprise to see a good scorer on a bad team opt to stick around for another year. But it’s worked out perfectly for Lovejoy and Detroit, the 2 seed in next week’s tournament.

@RMU_Blogger Early on they were running some double teams his way so I think it was tough early to get him the ball. Detroit bigs were especially playing great in that first half on D. But it is kinda crazy how few shots and efficient he is scoring every night.

Gotta get the ball to Goode!! Simply not enough of the offense running through him. Make the defense react to him.

@panthers2533 @Dueycbb Toole’s tourney team from last year was completedly gutted by D1 teams simply for one reason…they could pay more in NIL. Their starting 5 from last year could compete in the ACC right now.

@Dueycbb He is 10 times the actual coach Capel is. Maybe not same recruiter, who knows, hard to compare. But I’d take him all day long over Capel from a pure coaching standpoint.

Andy Toole literally lost his whole team last year and he has RMU at 7-3 to start the season One of the most underrated coaches in college basketball, he needs a crack at a power conference or even the A10, he does so much more with less, give him power conference resources he could turn a program into a powerhouse and he is heck of an in-game coach as well

@panthers2533 @Dueycbb Definitely agree he is a better coach. He is as just as good or even a bit better recruiter overall. Remember he has coached RMU in Horizon now and NEC before that. Been to NCAA tourney many times, including coming within 4 mins of beating Alabama this past March.

@JRown32 Teams throughout MLB have done this for years w/ 2 outs. I don’t agree with it, but it happens. They purposely will round second base & keep going to basically give themselves up for the 3rd out to make sure that run scores first. They use themselves at bait.

@andrewcards @AustinRBechtold Both twins were there. All 3 guys are friends. They also came to the last RMU home game in Horizon League Tournament. So couldn’t hurt with recruiting, but it’s likely more just his friends supporting him.

@AustinRBechtold A Diaz Graham was at the home tournament for RMU and was seen on TV in Cleveland at the March Madness game.

Would love to see Folgueiras at Pitt or Duquesne next year.

@advisortwk @RMU_Blogger Nobody from any of these schools are traveling to Indy on a Monday & Tuesday. Not their fault, ridiculous concept for Horizon to play anywhere but the better seed home venue. RMU would have had 3 straight crowds over 4,000…instead we get this crap environment.
