Voters were given a choice to leave their ballots to the care of the electoral board chair, who would feed these later to a working VCM or wait to feed it themselves once the VCM is fixed. The arrangement is reportedly being offered to more than a dozen precincts in the city.

Situation here in San Jose Elementary School in Makati: over 100 voters (five blocks long of a queue according to BFP) due to VCM failure. The same situation was seen in Pio del Pilar Elementary School where two VCMs broke down at 6:40 a.m. @PhilippineStar
