Update: Yes I'm on the flight. But it took the gate agent 3 scans of my passport before the system retrieved me. After the 2nd scan she asked, "Are you sure this is the correct flight?" 🤔

Not the best customer experience! I'm 99% sure I'm on the flight as I bought seats after my initial booking. Error messages like this just cause panic! #SwissAir

It's disheartening to witness the removal of WSOPc Ladies events from schedules. The significance of these tournaments for women in a predominantly male field is undeniable. Big Day!

Poker Update. Placed 4th last weekend in a local tournament. 68 entries. After buy in I made $400. This weekend I'm playing 2 more tournaments.

Big Update! It's been a busy few months & I've decided to chase a dream. For those who don't know. I've been playing poker for about 7 years. This January I decided to begin training for the 2024 WSOP. #wsop #poker

So what does training for the biggest poker event on the planet look like? In Feb, I got a job as a poker dealer at a local casino. I'm still doing software testing contracts & the casino is very accommodating on hours & flexibility. I also play 1/2x / week! #DreamBig

Some of the studying means reading. So far this book is changing my view of our physical, energetic and spiritual world. @DeepakChopra what a great read!

Adventure Update! It's been a busy couple days of training. Today is another day of training. Interesting fact about my new sport... men & women compete together and men are 95% of the players! I'm already the underdog!

Had my first Metaverse Meeting! So cool. I need to tweak my office configuration (I.e. clean off my desk) to be more effective in the VR World. But can't wait for more meetings this week! @RyanHnetka thanks for the invite! #Metaverse #saashq

Had some late night training for my new adventure. It was a physical & mental grind! But I held on & managed a 2nd place finish out of 26 & made some $$! Not too bad for being fairly new to the sport! Software testing has taught me to endure! #girlswhoplaysports #testing

A few have asked... what's the new adventure? Here's a hint. I'm not here now but will be in a few weeks. Right now the training is happening!

Day One of "My New Adventure" starts with some me time & reflection. Can't wait to get into this journal and see the magic it holds!

I have a clean slate. A new start. Everything that has been holding me back is gone. I can create any life I choose & after a weekend of reflection I think I know what that is. I'm going to chase a recent dream in a completely new direction. I can't wait to see it unfold.

Yesterday I was fired for standing up for the type of testing I believe in & was even hired to do. They weren't ready to trust or shift to something new. At first I was afraid. What will I do? I'm a single Mom, 2 teenaged boys who eat a lot!
