all jokes aside this is definitely the saddest moment in the entire show for me. what always gets me about shiguang is that they're each other's companions in life. when cxs thought he lost lg, the first thing that came to his mind was the quiet domesticity of their everyday life

the earthquake episodes are a perfect example of this - lg never tells cxs what the important node is (until the end), and cxs just accepts it. its such a major form of trust. he questions multiple times if its okay to change this or that, and never questions what the node is

what i love about s1 a lot is the fact that no matter how cryptic lg is, or with how little he tells cxs about the cases, cxs Always trusts lg fully, no doubts. no matter what, he'll trust his words. its so intimate in a sense
