@pureMetatron Yeah that's not Polynesian. Our skirts are far more interesting for a start, and actually look masculine. Also why go to the pains of wearing a skirt and then wear trousers underneath it anyway? I thought that trend died in the mid 00s.

Here is the thing. What I'm wearing on my profile picture is a late 15th century arming doublet based on the painting by Piero della Francesca, Tuscany. It's a connection to my Medieval Italian ancestors. So In THEORY I would have nothing against someone wearing a traditional item of clothing to connect with their ancestry, whatever that may be. But what he is wearing is not a traditional Polynesian skirt is it? So I'm confused, is this ACTUALLY about ancestry and re-enactment (nothing wrong) or is this a typical vapid Hollywood political virtue signal? The former is fine. The latter is cringe.

@dumbfrenchrat Yet to try, because I don't really have many local feral pigeons, but I read somewhere that they can become very tame towards you if you regularly treat them well. They were domesticated after all.

@menchi2929 You used to be able to get them in the supermarkets here with other offal cuts like tripe, heart, liver, etc. They have stopped doing so regularly for a while now. Even one of my favourite spreads, liverwurst, is becoming harder to find.
