this is a perfect demonstration of the real point of contention here- Israel's weapons defending Israelis in Israel = defensive. Israel's weapons in Tehran = offensive. don't blur the difference.

but here's the thing- there's a difference between defensive and offensive weapons. all weapons SHOULD be ultimately used for the purpose of defense, but offensive weapons CAN be used for indefensible attacks.
