@Guyat15 @Baezantium None of the European sects that I know do. I know some sects in Middle East do but I’ve only ever met a Somali family who wore them. They also have an entire white outfit they always wear to church and have some fairly different traditions than the Greeks or Russians.

@Baezantium What modern day Orthodox wears head scarves? I live in a city that has a significant Ukrainian/Russian diaspora population and I've never seen a head scarf outside of our Muslim pop.

@Baezantium I grew up Greek Orthodox and never learned there was an American orthodox in our town till I worked with someone who went there. We went to the Russian one a few times when I was a kid so I asked my mom about the American church. She basically said something like “they’re weird”.

@constans I pull over on the side of the road if it raining so hard I can’t see. I one sat under a bridge (not in the road) during a brief hail storm but doing this during every heavy rain is insane. Never park in the road especially when there is poor visibility.

@GunGnome Esp since it’s bear spray (I think). Less potent than most human pepper sprays, but larger volume and wider spray.
