@MariusMeiners @singular__ Let's goo! Can't wait for what the next months will bring

We raised $21m in a Series A led by @singular__ .
Ten months ago, we set out to give marketers the tools they need to make sure they win on AI search.
Today, we support more than 1,400 customers, have crossed $4m in ARR, built a team of 20 people, and are incredibly proud of what we’ve accomplished in such a short amount of time.
This funding round allows us to go global with Peec AI. We’re opening our NYC office in Q2 and plan to hire 40+ additional team members over the next six months.
Above anything else, I’m extremely thankful.
For my incredible Co-Founders, Daniel and Tobi, and all of our team members who worked day and night for months to make this happen.
For everyone who has taken time out of their day to join a demo call or try out the product.
For every single customer who keeps their subscription or upgrades their plan, enabling us to keep building.
For the investors who were willing to take a bet on a founding team with outsider backgrounds and no elite university degrees.
Thank you.

For the past 4 months, people have been asking me why I left idealo to join Peec AI.
I went from leading a business unit with 4 teams to being part of a team (company) of 10.
Since then, we have grown from 10 to 20+ people. And we went from $600k in ARR to $4M.
With 1,300+ paying customers, Peec AI has become a leader in the GEO/AEO space.
Today, we can announce that we have raised a $21M Series A round.
Some more things that happened recently.
➡️ #3 on Harmonic Hot 25 (Q4 2025)
➡️ #14 on Sifted AI Top 100
➡️ Accel Top 100 EU AI
We have achieved all of this in a crowded market with 160+ competitors.
And we did it in Berlin. Not in San Francisco.
Maybe joining Peec AI was a risk. Looking at what this team has achieved in such a short time, it feels more and more like the best professional decision I ever made.
By the way, I am currently hiring for the following roles:
• Product Manager
• Product Manager SEO
• Customer Success Manager
• SEO & AI Search Strategist

This is all my co-founder Daniel and I ate for five months.
One year ago in October, we had both just quit our jobs, had zero income, and were trying to live on the lowest budget possible.
This Cevapcici – available at Rewe for €1.99 😇 – was perfect for us. It has 482 calories, 22 grams of protein and, combined with some nuts and Sriracha sauce, it’s honestly not that bad.
We were (unsuccessfully) iterating through ideas, drinking free wine from the fridge in the @AntlerGlobal office (when available), and working 24/7 without any indication that this would pay off.
By January, we had completely exhausted our financial reserves. Daniel showed up for the incorporation at our notary’s super fancy office in a puffer jacket that was literally duct-taped together, and my shoes were falling apart.
We incorporated the company as a UG with €300 of share capital because we were too broke to pay in anything above €100 each. Our notary asked us about five times if we were sure this was a good idea and pointed out that we would be basically insolvent once we received the first invoice.
Tobi, our third co-founder who had already built a couple of businesses before, offered to lend me money a couple of times. I declined. This was part of the process, and looking back, I wouldn’t have wanted it to come together any other way.
It’s crazy how far we’ve come since then – a fast-growing team of 20 people, a product we’re proud of, a beautiful space to work in, and more than 1,300 customers who rely on us.
If you’re currently in a phase where it’s time to eat €1.99 Cevapcici for a couple of months – push through.
Things can change faster than you think. 👏

We crossed €1m ARR and 500+ customers in just 6 months. Here are 5 main things we learned about building a fast-scaling company:
1) Pick a good category.
Selling something people don’t need is just too hard. In B2B, you need to solve a big, painful problem to get people to care. That sounds easy but is actually really hard to find. @peec_ai (our company) helps companies improve their performance on AI search - something they understand is massively important, because it’s a huge driver of future revenue.
2) Have great timing.
If you don’t have the best product and offer at a given time, why should a customer pick you? Creating that advantage with 2–3 people is tough, especially if there are already lots of players on the field.
3) Work super, super hard.
You can easily outperform people who are twice as smart as you simply by putting in more effort. For the past six months, we’ve been working from 9 a.m. to midnight (often longer) on weekdays, and 8–10 hours on weekends - roughly 90 hours a week. Is that sustainable? Probably not. Do it anyway for as long as you can handle it and don't forget to have fun doing it!
4) Focus on selling.
You can get product, ops, fundraising, and everything else right but if top-line growth isn’t exceptional, you still lose. Go above and beyond for this one. If you have to do cold calls or door-to-door sales, do it. We ran well over 2,000 calls to get to where we are now.
5) Only fundraise with great KPIs.
Once you’re crushing it on product and sales, fundraising becomes easy. We raised on 30% WoW growth. It took us 6 weeks to get 4 term sheets for our Pre-Seed round, and only 1 week to close the Seed round because of the great traction and our ability to make the rounds competitive.

Over 100 people gave up a sunny Sunday to sit in a packed, dark room and compete for €10k in cash at our hackathon. The results were incredible.
Over 35 products were built and presented! 😍
🚀 To guys built a full AI Search analytics platform — including a clever feature that nudges LLMs to recommend your brand by injecting comments into article pages. They nearly took the top spot.
🥇 The winning team killed it. They built a working browser extension that shows coupon codes for products featured in AI Search — then clustered the prompts behind those results to generate smart recommendations. Super impressive.
We got talking afterwards and I learned:
• They had never met before.
• Most of them traveled to Berlin just for the event.
• They met because they all showed up early and started chatting.
• One flew in from Barcelona at 3am, built all day, and flew back that night.
• Another took a 6-hour train from Mannheim just to compete.
There are a lot of ambitious people in Europe.
If we build more of an ecosystem here around AI, we might actually have a shot.
Huge shoutout to @techeurope_ who's doing exactly that.
We selfishly hosted the event to find the best talent.
If you’re a 10/10 engineer with high ambition and strong work ethic, come work with us.
