If something bad were to happen and someone claiming to be my friend implicated my wife in my death, without any real evidence…just “vibes.” I would hope to God that you would support my wife instead of a malicious hack making millions by perpetuating half baked conspiracy theories while trying to destroy the most important person in the world to me. Watching the men’s hockey gold medal game today just re-emphasized how cool it would be if @MLB allowed big leaguers to play in the summer olympics in 2028. It might be an important step in recovering from whatever happens in 2027 (which is hopefully a mutual agreement and no work stoppage). I’d love to see the big league season pause and players compete for country. Baseball needs it. The fans need it. I think the players would love it. There’s nothing like playing while the crowd chants USA USA USA!

Lots of ways to disincentivize crime. A few that come to mind: - Consistently apply the death penalty for murder - immediately after due process - Violent assault should always keep you in prison for a very long time. If it happens again upon release, you’re locked up for life - Lock up DAs that won’t go after criminals and judges who issue low bail and light sentences - Open up institutions for the mentally ill
