@superwrenching I think the game is in a good state right now, and also feels stale. Map, objectives, items, and macro is in the best shape it’s been in months. Just add more heroes

there has not been much deadlock content from me. the game right now feels like it is in a very stale state and this current meta is kinda doodoo

@Xeratricky Agreed There are too many moments of “I cannot do anything against this hero, I need to stop interacting and have my team handle it” Egregious with doorman, where the play is to IGNORE HIM AS A TEAM or lose Curse needs to last longer, or there needs to be more enemy cleanse

I feel like Deadlock has an issue with interactability. Heroes like Mirage, Pocket, Doorman, etc don't really feel fun to go against assuming the player knows how to play the hero even slightly Mirage scarabs have charges that apply damage reduction, heal him, and deal damage along with having a global TP and i-frames. Pocket feels annoying to punish because they have so many options with cloak lasting as long as it does + going as far as it does + satchel being an i-frame. You see a doorman doing something stupid and just have to assume he probably has an escape door that goes like 150 meters across the map into what's basically the fog of war. Feels like a lot of the time the best play unless your whole team is coordinated vs these heroes is to just minimize interaction. I'm not saying these heroes don't have counters, but it feels like you have to put in a ton more effort into trying to kill them while they can generally buy dispel magic and be good for 75% of the game and then it feels like you need a ton of coordination through itemization + target focus within your team to actually kill them which in a pub match setting feels so bad. When Seven or Infernus were mega OP a year ago or whenever, I didn't feel bad fighting them because it felt like there were way more options to interact with them since they weren't teleporting around or being untargetable and were mostly just dealing a ton of damage

It would be rlly funny if they allowed seven to put stun on himself again but give it the drawback of also stunning himself for the same duration kinda like they did w bbop bomb

@Shiro_Rz I think the elo swings are related to the new urn. If you have one terrorist on your team, it completely throws your urn, which throws your jungle, which throws mid, which throws ANOTHER URN, which throws your jungle. Old urn was clutchable 1v11, same with current mid

went from e4 -> a6 -> e3 -> e1 in the past 2 days matchmaking genuinely feels the worst its ever been right now i keep getting actual terrorists every single game. i blame myself for every loss to improve but i cant be delusional enough to just ignore how bad my teams have been

@DeathyDL - Urn invalidates heroes that are bad at urn fights. If you have a bad urn fight draft, you lose the game. - Late/mid game swings are enormous. Urn fight>mid boss>farm for a 50k swing and an unrecoverable state - Killing Victor 3/4 times is horrid - Health pools are too high

Just haven't had a great time with Deadlock recently, and I was talking to Wander and he felt the same, but we couldn't figure out the issue with this patch. What's been the problem for you guys if you feel the same way?

Picking both Enchanter’s Emblem and Spirit Shielding might be better than just Spirit Resilience Same with Gun versions If you’re not slot locked, you gain more useful stats, and a fat shield, and can get value faster Late game, you can trade for Spirit Resilience anyway
