@solarxspells @chiakitties @medicitrus That's fair! I have had a very different experience, which is also fair! I have seen a lot of targeted hate and harassment from different communities for years, all of them supporting c!s streamers, and a lot of hypocrisy about expectations.

@chiakitties @medicitrus Tubbo is not trans. Ranboo has openly talked about their trans experience and has a vtuber they use to present the way they prefer. They receive endless hate for how they present publicly, Tubbo, a c!s man, does not.

It can’t just be me who feels like Ranboo is making unnecessary jabs at Tommy for being open about his mental health and coining it as parasocial behaviour on his end. Maybe i’m deepening it too much but the way they talk makes it sound more like a passive aggressive comment

@Glitzandwham 1 of his last 12 videos has been about his depression diagnosis. His square videos for the most part have been about his life lately, not his diagnosis. The whole point of those vids were obviously to explore a different art style and talk about his experiences lately? So, no.

And it's very obviously not Ranboo's actual community that has the problem. But watching fandom spaces become so conservative and tyrannical over an adult's body, especially a gender minority adult, is symptomatic of so much more.

People have no problem with explicitly adult content without a censor and understand it is satirical, and then look at content that IS censored and yet are offended because it is gnc, and shows as much skin as a typical swimsuit. That is misogyny and transphobia, period.

Probably one of the wildest differences in reactions to see on the internet is the pearl-clutching misogyny and transphobia that people are having towards Ranboo's latest and very clearly satirical content as opposed to Tommyinnit's very clearly satirical vape content.
