@halkeye @nate_usher @keywordnew Yep, on hiatus for the time being. Tried to figure out a way to take it online, but it’s a bit too collaborative/interactive to translate well. Happy to try something out if people have ideas how to make it work though. Still not quite safe enough for in-person yet, sadly.

Does anyone know what the state of @nodeschoolyvr is? I went once several years ago, and it was awesome. Looking for a good #yvr tech meetup. @keywordnew @halkeye

@halkeye @nodeschoolyvr Thanks by gatsby-theme-nodeschool, we are building the new site to Nodeschool Campinas using it. 👍

@TessaMero @Meetup @groupsio cete.io and ti.to are some alternatives that might be interesting. I’ve used ti.to before and it’s decent, other than discoverability. Not sure yet about cete.

Since this is the end of @meetup and everyone is leaving the platform (as they have failed to respond to the chaos of their user base), has anyone tried the free and open source option called @groupsio ? I’m looking at EXISTING options at the moment to migrate all my groups!

Holy smokes! The folks up at @nodeschoolyvr are crowdsourcing contributions to our Scholarship Fund! This isn't some corporation or a deep pocketed NGO. It's just a bunch of developers in Vancouver, BC who care.

Day 73 of #100DaysOfCode. Spent the afternoon at @nodeschoolyvr, working on exercises 5 and 6 in the learnyounode workshopper. A great crowd, and airG were great hosts!

Day 13 of #100DaysOfCode. Made it through the first three challenges in #learnyounode thanks to help from the mentors @nodeschoolyvr. Many thanks to @goclio for providing an awesome workspace and pizza!
