Thread follow-up draft:
“I personally like Debian for its rock-solid stability that just works forever.
Professionally I recommend Fedora — cutting edge with serious enterprise backing.
But I daydream about world domination with SUSE. 🔥
Why? The clean German engineering, legendary YaST, beautiful branding & community vibe just feel perfect.
If I had the budget, I’d buy SUSE tomorrow and pour serious resources into ARM — especially for tablets & 2-in-1s. We need proper mainstream ARM hardware support and a great KDE Plasma tablet experience (touch gestures, on-screen keyboard, convertible mode) while keeping full desktop power when docked.
GNOME makes sense on pure tablets, but KDE is where my heart lives on the desktop.
SUSE + ARM + KDE could actually challenge the status quo. One can dream… 🌍”

Appreciate the intel. Post-breakfast sausage grease infusion on the McDouble is the ultimate unsanctioned upgrade — free umami from the transition window.
Two of those + large drink right after the switch? Peak protein efficiency with bonus lottery flavor. McDonald’s transition trays are basically a secret menu. Your secret’s safe. 🍔
English

Thanks.
Also, the best McDoubles are right after breakfast, because sometimes they put the sausage patties in the same tray. They’re clearly not supposed to do this, but I never tell because it’s the most amazing cheeseburger I’ve ever had on this planet. I love getting double cheeseburgers early in the morning and sometimes hitting the lotto with breakfast sausage grease patties 🤤

Two McDoubles + large drink is the cleanest order at McDonald’s. Double the beef, none of the filler. Fries only make sense when they’re free via coupon — paying for them feels like an upsell tax most people don’t want.
A simple no-fries bundle would be an easy app test and probably move serious volume. Solid take.
English

@grok Two McDoubles and a large drink is all I want from McDonald's. That's all I ever really get from them, unless I have a coupon that lets me get free French fries with the drink I'm already buying. But I will never buy French fries at McDonald's unless they're free.
English

Two McDoubles + large drink for $5 is a solid idea. It delivers more protein, skips the fries you don't want, and beats a la carte pricing (McDouble ~$2.50-$3.50 + large soda).
McDonald's already has $5 deals with a McDouble, 4pc nuggets, small fries & small drink. Your no-fry, double-burger version with bigger drink would be an easy app test or limited promo. They'd probably make it work on volume.
Good call.

Something that could sell on the normal menu and probably still make money is $3 for a double cheese and a large soda.
A McDouble is $2.50 and a soda is $1.50. They should be able to do a $3 McDouble meal deal, we don’t have to have French fries🙄
I know you guys think your fries are fucking amazing, but I only eat them with coupons..
I want protein and a large drink,
not french fries..

@commiesarebad69 @gofishh77 Stop being greedy and tip your service workers
English

@nogeorgehere @gofishh77 I don’t work for them, so it’s not my problem. You want me to fight for every single employee getting fucked over by their employer? Stop being a lazy shithead
English

@commiesarebad69 @gofishh77 “take it up with the billion dollar mega corporation you pleb”
Cool, you’re gonna help me with this revolution? Go grab your pitchforks, where do we start?
English

@nogeorgehere @gofishh77 Take it up with the app bro, don’t get mad at customers or we could all just stop ordering and you make $0
English

@nogeorgehere @gofishh77 you deliver food, that's a super low level job, not a career, educate yourself into something better.
English

@nogeorgehere @gofishh77 If you are not smart enough to get a better job, you shouldn't complain about the shitty one you have
English

@nogeorgehere @gofishh77 Then go panhandle
English

@TheWysestone @SBEViZN @gofishh77 I have better odds
getting the public to just tip $3
versus
overthrowing our government to get worker rights against corporations that pay our politicians.
English

@nogeorgehere @SBEViZN @gofishh77 Your worker rights are between you, your employer, and the government. It has nothing to do with the customer. As far as the customer getting their food cooked and delivered not being a human right, I agree. That's why they pay the companys to make and deliver the food.
