It's landlocked, hot for 3 months a year, and the capital city has the infrastructure of a place figuring things out in real time But here's what it has: - The lowest cost of living in South America if you exclude Bolivia - Territorial taxation: 0% on income earned outside the country - One of the lowest crime rates in Latin America - A residency process that still actually works and doesn't require you to speak the language, hire six lawyers, or wait three years - The ability to run a global business, pay legal taxes on it, and keep most of what you earn Paraguay just MAKES SENSE And then, yes, the quality of life turned out to be great I consider that a bonus
