So, as some of you may know I have covered the Pels religiously for about 8 years before moving to Japan. However, when I check Sns and post I get flashbacks. It seems like names change but the vibe as a fan is the same. I want to ask, how do you feel as a pels fan in 2026?

Hey Pels fans, お久しぶり. Long time no see. I've been away from the Pels and the NBA in general for the better part of 6+ years, watching the NBA in Japan is tough (until the recent Prime deal, that helps a lot). (I have a question for my Pels fans in the next message)

These elimination games in the Play-In Tournament are pretty much my favorite games of the NBA season

I'll talk more about Joe Dumars' end of season press conference on Locked On Pelicans but Dumars saying Troy Weaver's fingerprints are all over OKC is a pretty absurd thing to say. Detroit? That's a different conversation.

@NOLAJake Mark Jackson absolutely gets credit for establishing culture in gst, and steve kerr took it to another level

@Will_NOLA He's highly respected around the league. Has some experience and you'd hope has grown from that. That at least makes sense to interview even if I wouldn't hire him

@NOLAJake Anytime you can hire a guy who couldn't win 50 games with LeBron James, Anthony Davis, and an unlimited checkbook, you have to do it.

@just_adavis Who credits Mark Jackson? Things change, and quickly in the NBA. Weaver gets credit for what he did but doesn't get credit for OKC having success 6 years later.
