You are NOT A BURDEN if you are sad often. You are NOT A BURDEN if you are living with constant anxiety. You are NOT A BURDEN if you need a lot of reassurances. You are NOT A BURDEN if you reach out for help. You are NOT AN BURDEN if you are fighting with your negative thoughts.

Dont settle for this. I got my man taking yoga with me and going to one of my sewing classes. He makes me powerlift with him. And go hiking. Find someone you can lock in with.

Women love men like mad. Most women love men to the point of diminishing themselves. That is the status quo. All this uproar is funny because women lose their identities, hobbies, and interests in partnerships with men. Is it so wicked to ask that we retain a bit of our lives?

Yesterday I read “For some men, losing a great woman is not heartbreak. It is relief. Her presence asked them to rise, and now they get to stay exactly who they were. Mediocrity is easier without a witness.”

It’s extremely traumatic to be in a connection where you realise everything was a lie and you can’t even get proper closure from the person because it’s impossible to ever get the truth from a liar. So you’re left with having to create the answers for yourself. Which is another form of torture and entrapment in itself as you’re chained to constant rumination, overthinking, questioning and not trusting your own judgement and instincts. Which affects future connections because you now don’t feel you have the ability to pick up who is honest and who isn’t.

They say go no contact, focus on yourself, and let time heal. But no one tells you what to do when it’s 2 a.m., your chest aches, and your mind won’t stop replaying their memory.

Its so common to see couples who look happy but then once you talk to them you learn that the husband doesn't 'allow' makeup, the wife wakes up at 5 to cook before leaving for work, the husband who hates to look after the kids on his 'off day'.

Most of the young women I speak to are not interested in marriage anymore & understandably so; they've grown up surrounded by unhappy, often violent marriages; the men they meet claim to support equality but, scratch the surface, & they quickly turn out to be misogynistic.

The best way to 'get your spark back' is burning everything down. You have to reset your life. You have to reset your mind. You have to let go of everything you were, everything you had, every lie you told yourself. Then, something else can take their place. Only a few do it. They let go of years and decades, wins and failures, skills and pride-to go somewhere new. It's hard, but simple. You can restart any time you want. Any time you have the strength. There's no feeling like it. Beauty starts with a blank slate. And a blank slate starts with the fiery destruction of your entire existence. Eventually, that inferno turns from pain to warmth. You sit there for a while. Basking in it. Then, The Idea hits you. And you're never the same again.

I hope that nothing is coincidence and that it all has a hidden meaning, and that I didn't cry for no reason and my tears mean something. I hope one day I'll look back and realise it was all worth it. I hope with all my heart... I hope

i used to live alone when i was a young bachelor... no real friends, no girlfriend, no partying, no clubbing. just me, by myself, growing in silence and compounding wealth. at first, it felt like peace to me but deep down, it was chaos i battled every single day. walking around my apartment, i longed for someone to talk to. waking up, i wished there was someone beside me. cooking, i wanted someone to share a meal with. watching football, i wanted to scream GOOAAALL with people by my side but there was no one. yes, i had money but i felt really lonely and depressed. truly, no amount of self love, hustle or self improvement can replace the simple human need to be seen, heard and valued. introversion or staying alone, if left unchecked, can kill slowly. my depression only started lifting when i began going out more and building real connections.
