This photo is hilarious in hindsight. Trump knew Tucker was talking to Iran. So he invites him to the Oval Office before the strike… knowing Tucker will run straight back and relay it. Iran sees this photo. Thinks Tucker has Trump’s ear. Thinks Trump is bluffing. Meanwhile Trump’s sitting there smiling because he wanted them to believe it. Tucker’s ego sells the deception. Khamenei buys it. And just like that Tucker unknowingly helps take out the Supreme Leader… and now Americas biggest traitor may be heading to prison. Perfectly played.

Future of elite schooling is AI teachers but no access to using the tool till complete critical thinking mastery. Then unleash the tools and specific training. Have to learn to think first

@paularambles This just makes me believe simulation theory more - an ever increasing attention to detail becomes indistinguishable from real life?

@karpathy Taken to the limit this is a bull case for VR, ultimately agents become indistinguishable from humans, go to a meeting room and talk to people all day

Expectation: the age of the IDE is over Reality: we’re going to need a bigger IDE (imo). It just looks very different because humans now move upwards and program at a higher level - the basic unit of interest is not one file but one agent. It’s still programming.

@nummanali tmux grids are awesome, but i feel a need to have a proper "agent command center" IDE for teams of them, which I could maximize per monitor. E.g. I want to see/hide toggle them, see if any are idle, pop open related tools (e.g. terminal), stats (usage), etc.

Will Smith says they didn’t use ‘I Am Legend’ alternate ending because test audience literally booed. “They were like we didn’t watch the whole movie to find out he’s the monster. They feel cheated.” “6 weeks before the movie comes out we had to reshoot.”

Another tool I wouldn't have thought I'd ever need or want, but now I do and I can't find one: a decent Markdown *viewer*. Not an editor; I just want a clean simple fully rendered view of a .md, on macOS.

If Anthropic achieves super intelligence do they stealthily kneecap all other AI players 3 body problem style and then slow roll their own tech to make the acceleration more manageable?

In a world where software can automatically generate - there comes a point where only at the moment of an original thought is something differentiated, and then it's immediately copied and improved infinitely

The more you watch the potential 2028 Democratic candidates— such as their performances at the Munich conference— the more you realize just how weak the Democratic bench truly is. Kamala is still Kamala. AOC is exactly like Kamala, yet somehow less articulate. Newsom will have to explain why his policies that are resulting in California losing four electoral votes is a model for the country. Rabid pro-Islam Dems will not allow Josh Shapiro to win a primary. Pete Buttigieg will once again get 0% of the black vote. JB Pritzker is an out of touch billionaire. Wes Moore is taking until 2030 to rebuild a bridge and completely lied about his resume. Mark Kelly appeals to whom exactly? Just a remarkably weak slate of candidates who JD Vance and Marco Rubio would easily wipe the floors with in a debate.
