We have seen lots of tuk tuks on our travels but not these bicycle tourist taxis in Hoi An, Vietnam! They look like oversizes baby strollers to us - anyone else thinking the same? 🤭

Can't believe it took us 3 weeks before we rented a motorbike in Vietnam! It's the perfect country to explore on a 2-wheeler! 🛵 Fun fact: every time we rented one we got it nearly empty. So head to the next gas station asap and it's no problem to return it empty too!

Stepping into the busy streets of Hoi An ✨ most travelers only stay for 1-2 nights but we think it deserves longer! We stayed 1 months as digital nomads and loved it - so much to do, see and eat 😋

@AshleeFechino When you get the chance, definitely try some different coffees! Some are very sweet (condensed milk + sugar) so not that healthy but the straight black coffees are good quality - Vietnam is the second biggest producer of coffee beans in the world!

@RyanBiddulph Thanks, it's so much fun going to different cafes and sampling all the coffee. Not a big fan of condensed milk generally but it's the secret sauce in the coffees here ;)

@homeboypyramids The cafes we went to people would always smoke outside, so we would most likely sit inside in the back. But depends on the cafe set up ofc. And yes,the stats of people in Vietnam smoking must be through the roof!

@happyhealthynom I'm assuming you meant sit OUTSIDE. The coffee is great, but that smoke is crazy.

We tried our first Vietnamese egg coffee today and it was delicious! Rua Ren cafe in Hanoi made such a creamy delicious coffee. We usually like our coffee black but Vietnam is helping us enjoy different styles that we usually wouldn’t go for

@RyanBiddulph Yea we are loving our coffees out in Vietnam too. Just came from Hanoi (where the egg coffee is from) and trying the coffee scene in Nha Trang atm. So far, so good! Plenty of options. I (Kat) personalize don't like it with the condensed milk but Allan does!

@happyhealthynom I love that stuff. When we spent a little under a month in Saigon last year I did Vietnam coffee with the super sweet condensed milk. Every single day I made a nice cup in the apartment or I would enjoy a cup when eating out.

We had our first authentic local Vietnamese cafe experience yesterday. The coffee was like rocket fuel! So strong! But it was full of flavour and you got green tea to cleanse the palate in between sips. At 1 USD for two cups we will be visiting a few more small local cafes

@happyhealthynom Cui Da? (spelling probably off LOL) We loved it there. Biked there daily from the house we rented by the rice fields. Lost 10 pounds of water daily it felt like hehehehe.....:) Enjoy.
