Imagine being such a US stooge that you’re out here inventing atrocity propaganda on their behalf. Now imagine that you have the temerity to call yourself an anti-imperialist while doing so. LMFAOOO, you’re either a fed or an idiot, either way you’re perma blocked.
NLH@NLH2224

This nigga deadass thinks that states that engage in genocide should be allowed to get away with it because they're anti-west, there should be no international pressure applied to them. Again, MLs believe in NOTHING. My god.

What is it about that ideology that make you all behave that way? It’s so fascinating to me. I despise AP, yet I have plenty of friends, some of them very close friends, who don’t and that’s okay. For whatever reason you people meltdown over the smallest critiques.

Imperialism means everything and thus nothing at all. This perspective tries to absolve those states that actually extract most of the resources and dispossess millions of people along the way.

A 41 yr old Haitian asylum seeker died within 24 hrs of being taken into ICE custody in Newark & was denied medical care. Haitian migrants are subjected to some of the harshest, punitive immigration policy. Support Jean’s family w/funeral & burial costs: gofundme.com/f/honoring-jea…

As Trump talks about “cartels running Mexico” and “doing something about it” — remember: Venezuela, Colombia, Mexico, Nicaragua, and Cuba have been threatened by the US as it advances broader geopolitical goals in region: resource grabs + destruction of left thought and projects.
Tamanisha J John@TamanishaJohn

FYI: The US government is seeking to worsen the energy crisis in Cuba by blocking Cuban access to oil —with even its (already limited due to US sanctions) trading partners. US rep threatens US trade relations w/ Mexico for sending oil to a fictitious “murderous dictator” in Cuba

I think the most frustrating brand of anticommunist influencer are those who cite Black Marxists (like Okoth) to discredit the method as Eurocentric🫠—she has another viral vid claiming Marxism is inapplicable to Africa & Asia due to their lack of an industrial base. She’s recycling old misreadings that Marxism is inherently Eurolinear, thus can’t be mapped onto Africa/Caribbean. Of course this erases rich Caribbean MARXIST traditions. The lack of a large industrial working class in Africa or the Caribbean doesn’t mean Marxist class analysis “is limited”..it means capitalist development in the colonies was intentionally distorted by imperialism. That’s what James, Rodney, Cox, Fanon, Cabral, Nrukmah, and Amin argued: the colonial economy prevents the emergence of a classic European-style proletariat. Classes don't disappear, they take different forms under conditions of underdevelopment, extraction, and dependency. The Haitian Revolution was a proletarian and peasant uprising inside a fully capitalist plantation economy. The French Caribbean was not feudal. Saint-Domingue was the wealthiest capitalist colony in the world, driven by monocrop commodity production, global markets, and enslaved African labor functioning as industrial labor + imperial extraction. C.L.R. James explicitly argues the Haitian Revolution is the 1st successful revolution of a hyper-exploited colonial proletariat. Nothing about it contradicts Marxist analysis.

Marxism through a racial lens exposes its blindness in language: uniting workers is counterproductive, some workers benefit from class inequality; Marx should have unified the exploited and those excluded from work. Their liberation should proceed the liberation of the worker.

@nomariii “sex itself is a gendered category” is a classic line, which isn’t exactly saying “co-constitutive”. my more mild point is sexuation doesn’t collapse them insofar as we know it’s compulsory heterosexuality doing that. Butler reads Lacan likewise but that’s not true of the concept

so many feminist psychoanalytic theorists have debunked this so many times over it almost feels like a wanton misreading running cover for something else. sexuation has its conceptual limits—(anti-)blackness—but gender per se is not it; though it’s gender *politics* may be.

you can’t “collapse gender and sexuality” bc gender + sexuality are dialectical; they are not structured the exact same but neither are they articulable outside from one another. Butler argues this in ’90, ’93, ’04. sexuation affirms this by saying “gender” is subject to desire.
