i said in podcasts that ryuji is my most hated character and i take that back. won me over in the end, became more than an obnoxious loudmouth. solid character. i think strohl and hulkenburg are great evolutions of his archetype split between 2 people, but ryuji is a bro.

liking dragon age a bit more because im enjoying its vibes. i actually am starting to dig the exaggerated hyperreal art style, reminds me of classic pc adventure toons.
still not a fan of the writing or the big standard adventure game design, but the combat reminds me favorably of kingdoms of amalur, which funnily enough had talent who built the eventual star wars jedi series, which this game ALSO feels like

@RodFergusson It unfortunately is so broken every build is just so OP. My friends who didn’t play spirit born didn’t want to even party with me, as it wasn’t fun standing around watching me one shot everything. It was fun for a minute but really anti-fun overall. Absolutely love the expac tho

IGN isnt wrong. I just looked into this tonight, and it's absolutely "pay to win" in the sense that you can pay real money to shortcut your way to new upgrades.
It's not that big a deal, tons of games have offered those shortcuts over the years. But that's "pay to win"
