Someone in @Microsoft has updated whatever central list of countries gets queried by a web service so that Ireland is now Republic of Ireland. Messing with my muscle memory here, as it used to be 4 or 5 keypresses of I to get to it before this. Change it back please!

@Microsoft What this is is the Find My Mouse functionality. Put your mouse into the top left-hand corner and use the hotkey to turn it on. It was stuck on though.

Windows 11, dimmed screen with a brighter quadrant in the top left-hand corner of your monitor? It may be down to @Microsoft PowerToys. Try clicking on the PowerToys notification area icon and seeing if it needs an update. Fixed it for me.

It's the little things that help workflows go that bit smoother. I constantly use the file management capabilities in @Microsoft @Office/@Office365 applications. In my experience most people aren't aware of them.

Tired of random applications polluting my user space on Windows. As a developer if you need to store shared files, that's what the AppData and Application Data folders are for. Fix for me is to symlink the offenders to those folders.
