That's so awesome! Aaa. Always excited to meet anthro folk! Linguistics is so interesting because there's still way less we know for languages, still. Also, US south is such a fascinating area and there's so much historictity. ♡ĺ Mine began with cosplayers to underground metal bands in south asian conservative spaces to fieldwork in exploring illegal gold mining and mysticism in West Africa, etc. XD So much to do.

@noontalks YUM. i defo leaned more to cultural anthropology as well, i didnt get to take any lingustic anthro while in college but thats a big area i love learning abt. my main focus tho is us southern culture and especially the dialect and how classism effects southern ppl.

@lufloric Ooooh, oh my god! Always good to see another anthropology enjoyer! Mine was mostly cultural anthropology, with a decent hint of biological anthro too. All these broadened to youth culture, counter culture and public policy and health. So much to yap! ^^
