HYBE seemed to believe that once they had the “NewJeans formula,” they could endlessly replicate it and achieve the same success.
This is what happens when a company fills its top executive ranks with people from the gaming industry while being led by someone obsessed with expanding far beyond music and entertainment itself. The soul gets stripped out of the process, and profit and scalability becomes the center of everything. Instead of nurturing authenticity, artistry, and human connection, the focus shifts to expansion, market control, and chasing shortcuts to success.

Its so annoying because ioi literally went through the trial and error phase for everyone else the later exclusivity rules were basically created because of what happened to them. If anything they deserved the biggest exception even a grant to stay permanent #아이오아이

so the rule where the members of a program final debut line up groups cannot have other schedules except from their main company (as final line up) is set after what ioi been through that time 😒 #ioi 🐢 during our time, because we went well, the agencies took us out (of ioi) and was debuting us in other groups as well. 🐢 because of that, this group (ioi) couldnt do the promotions “properly”, the other groups were also getting busy and the members started having hard times. after facing that, the agencies realized that it couldnot be done like that because they couldn’t control it that way. so they made the rule for the next season that the final members cannot have individual schedules (from their root agencies)

i know newjeans fans are annoying with the "they copy everything" but that new hybe label webpage is quite literally og ador 2.0 and i'm sorry, but there's no way around it. It's so blatant it's kinda funny and tragic at the same time.
