not that the tush push should necessarily be banned but when you're in the entertainment business you can absolutely make rule changes purely on an entertainment basis and nothing else

Sean Payton says if the NFL ever eliminated the “tush push” it won’t be because of health and safety. It’ll be because “we don’t like it.” He said: “Last year, we spent two hours on health and safety on the (tush push) and then added 1,000 kickoffs. … Sometimes your BS meter goes up.”

Crosby's was a 4 on 4 overtime golden goal. This year: In preliminary/group-stage round, tied games have sudden-death 5-minute OT played at 3-on-3, then shootout...The quarterfinal/semifinal rounds play ten minutes of 3-on-3 then shootout..Medal round games 3 on 3 until someone scores. No shootout.

@TopDownHockey I’m genuinely curious how the islanders had such a low xg….the goals they scored are littered with high-danger one-timers, odd man rushes and breakaways…and those goals are clocking in at 0.03, 0.04 etc…feels oddly low

We will need to wait until tomorrow to see if the results stand, as the NHL often updates their data within days of game completion. But as of right now, it's looking like Jacob Markstrom may have had the worst single-game goaltending performance of all time.
