Documentation explains what your controls are. Evidence proves they were actually working. There’s a big difference. I think the future of compliance is moving from documentation to continuous evidence.

Security isn’t about collecting more evidence. It’s about collecting evidence you can prove. If the evidence can’t be independently verified, it’s just another assertion. That’s why we believe forensic proof is the future of compliance.
