People are either naive or purposely missing the point. Its not about whether or not he is gay, its about people using it as an insult towards him because that is exactly how it is being used. Its about the hyperanalysis and the stereotypical ideas surrounding femininity and masculinity. And it doesnt matter whether Lando is seen with his girlfriend or not people make these assumptions based on his person. They take their own assumptions as confirmation and then act on them by being homophobic and regardless of Lando’s sexuality, all of this is still an attack on the LGBTQ+ community and not something that should be accepted regardless of whether you hate Lando or not.
