Just watched #FyreFraud. Kind of astonishing how familiar so much of this feels, having formerly worked for a less successful Billy McFarland.

@jbohlinger The American Dream: Pull yourself up by your bootstraps...unless you’re already wealthy. Then get a cash infusion/government bailout that’ll (theoretically) trickle down (but not really; that shit doesn’t work) after you help break America.

Happy Indigenous Peoples’ Day! It’s critical to respect the wisdom of native communities, especially in regard to their stewardship of the Earth. 🌎💕 (Also, fuck Christopher Columbus.)

@meggan Been there, friend. Anything you can do for stress management? That’s usually the underlying factor for me when sleeping poorly to the point of twitchy eyes.

I have had a persistent eyelid twitch for weeks because I suck at sleeping. (Already taking magnesium, it’s not helping bc I’m still not sleeping appropriately.)

Felt my first tick of the season yesterday. There’s still three FEET of snow most places around here, but no matter: Ticks find me. So it begins.

There have been a few games this tournament with really rough officiating, but @Vol_Hoops-@IowaHoops probably takes the cake so far. (Watching @kerrianne successively more indignant with each terrible call is both endearing and rough to watch.)
Fran Fraschilla@franfraschilla

The phantom call on @Vol_Hoops (granted in real time not easy) is what an analyst lives for to explain. Officials should’ve had the onions to call an inadvertent whistle with Iowa in possession of arrow. Would be surprised if this crew advances to Round of 16.

Meanwhile, I've watched players in every other game do the exact same thing + actually taunt/trash-talk w/out penalty. THIS IS BASKETBALL, Y'ALL. Show me a player that *doesn't* get psyched about flustering another player out of bounds w/out fouling/touching them. #MarchMadness

Minutes later, I still can't handle that technical on Kispert for...enthusiastic clapping. (He had just played rad defense! He was EXCITED.) #GoZags

I tell @kerrianne it feels like a full moon day, based entirely on how ridiculous several clients are being. She tells me there was a full moon last night. I can’t decide whether to feel vindicated...or still annoyed by said clients.

To clarify for those easily offended: This is meant mostly tongue-in-cheek. Talk about whatever you want. I'll always have the mute button if you're dumb.

Let's call it Frosty's Rule: Talk of snow is generally inverse to the quantity received each year. Related: No one ever cares about your weather except other people in the same place.

Maybe someday our former boss's crimes will catch up with him; last we knew we owed several hundred thou in back taxes. But I'll believe it when I see it, you know?

Just pubbed, the most comprehensive review of lockdowns ever done: More than 4.1 million students endured one last school year, and the effects were often devastating — kids wept and soiled themselves, wrote wills and texted parents goodbye. w/ @dataeditor wapo.st/lockdowns
