Lots of +ve covid results today. Multiple young children all presenting with runny nose + mild cough. Some had no raised temperature While they may not very ill they are very contagious Parents. Don't delay if your child has any symptoms. Get tested + isolate to limit spread

@LateoReg @illonaduffy Not for my cases. I don’t have those resources. I just provide help with hen asked. Extensive research underway in the UK and significant data links Covid with auditory damage and much anecdotal evidence from colleagues.

@LateoReg @illonaduffy 2/2... keep you out of hospital but won’t stop you getting sick. I fitted hearing aids to a 42 yo woman last week. She had normal hearing last Feb. She contracted Covid in March. She had NO SYMPTOMS but was tested as a close contact. By April her hearing was damaged permanently.

@LateoReg @illonaduffy Vaccination is essential but not a guarantee against infection. It reduces the likelihood of serious illness. But continue to wear masks and social distance. I am seeing people every month suffering with post Covid hearing loss and tinnitus. Vaccination will... 1/2

@LateoReg @illonaduffy Will you cop on. I see more and more long Covid patients every month. Just because it doesn’t kill you doesn’t mean it can’t have have devastating consequences. Children may not get very ill but they can still infect adults, many of whom will suffer seriously.

@illonaduffy Will you ever just cop on .. they are not sick in any meaningful way. You are frightening the life out of kids who have a right for adults to make them feel safe . Heard you on radio and you are completely exaggerating risks and contributing to kids being damaged by anxiety .

@FCTwenteBenson Ah sweet! Here’s a tip for tormenting tailgaters. Flick your rear fog lights on every so often. Tailgaterfuckhead will assume you are braking and will be forced to brake too. When they catch up do it again. Eventually they cop onto the scam but not before they are well pissedoff
