To vacationers who may be traveling to Walton County for a visit this Labor Day weekend, please learn the rules of the road as it pertains to LSVs. This information could save your life.
A few quick things:
▪️Driver must have a valid drivers license. 🪪
▪️Children must be in carseat or booster seat. 💺
▪️Passengers under 18 must wear a seatbelt. ❕
▪️No open containers. 🍺
▪️Only allowed on roadways with speed limits 35 MPH or less. ⛔️
▪️Not allowed on sidewalks or bike path. 🚫
▪️DO NOT DRIVE ON US HIGHWAY 98 OR US 331 S. ‼️
▪️LSVs must have headlights, blinkers, seatbelts, a windshield, valid registration, and MORE and should be treated like a car. 🚘

Awards day for 6th & 7th grades is next Monday. All A’s, A/B honor roll, individual subject awards, etc. Parents of students being recognized will receive a card in the mail in the coming days.

We are so lucky to have such a well-equipped library at NMS. Ms. Hammond does an excellent job as our librarian and deserves all the recognition this month! April is School Library Month and we appreciate the resource we have at NMS!
