Los Angeles County voters just approved raising their own sales tax to 10.25%, meaning millions of residents will pay more on most everyday purchases. In the middle of a cost-of-living crisis, they literally voted to make things more expensive🤡🌎

🚨 GOLD IS FOLLOWING THE SAME ROADMAP AS 1979 Most investors watched the war. Very few understood what would happen when it ended. The US-Iran war is now over. And gold dumped almost immediately after. That is NOT a coincidence. 1979: → Iran crisis → Oil exploded → Gold surged from $200 to $850 Then the Fed slammed rates to 20%. Gold crashed over 60%. Now look at 2026: → Iran war ended → Oil started dumping → Inflation fears eased → The Fed turned hawkish → Gold immediately sold off Gold doesn't top when fear peaks. Gold tops when central banks fight inflation. The same setup is forming again. History doesn't repeat exactly. But it rhymes. Remember, I've studied macro for 10 years and called almost every major market top, including the October BTC ATH. Follow and turn notifications on. I'll post the warning BEFORE it hits the headlines.

🚨 AMAZON MAY BE ABOUT TO DECLARE FULL SCALE WAR ON NVIDIA. Amazon is exploring selling its in-house AI chips, including AWS Trainium, directly to data centres and enterprise customers. Amazon runs a three chip AI stack: Trainium for training, Inferentia for inference and Graviton CPUs for general compute. Trainium has been restricted to AWS infrastructure until now, the reported plan would extend availability to external buyers. This would mark Amazon's shift from a cloud provider using custom chips to a vertically integrated AI compute supplier, offering both cloud services and the hardware that powers them. Nvidia's business model depends on every company needing to buy GPUs from Nvidia, regardless of which cloud they use. If Amazon starts selling Trainium directly to data centres, a company no longer needs AWS or Nvidia. They can buy Amazon's chips and run them on their own infrastructure. That removes Nvidia from the transaction entirely. Amazon's Trainium AI accelerator has already attracted major customers including OpenAI, Anthropic and Uber, all accessing it via AWS. Anthropic has committed to up to 5 gigawatts of current and future Trainium capacity. OpenAI has agreed to about 2 gigawatts. These are workloads that would otherwise likely run on Nvidia GPUs. Amazon said in April that the Trainium chip has generated over $225 billion in revenue commitments. Trainium2 has largely sold out. Trainium3 began shipping at the start of 2026 and is nearly fully subscribed. Much of Trainium4, still about 18 months from broad availability, has already been reserved. That level of demand shows real customers are choosing Trainium over Nvidia GPUs even while restricted to AWS only. Andy Jassy said in his April shareholder letter that the chip business is generating roughly $20 billion annualized across Trainium, Graviton, and Nitro, growing at a triple-digit percentage rate year over year. He said that if the chip business sold externally the same way Nvidia does, it would represent a $50 billion annual run-rate business on its own. Peter DeSantis, the AWS executive overseeing the chip effort, confirmed the talks, citing demand for AI compute to stay under local control, especially Europe's push for sovereign infrastructure. He dismissed concerns about cannibalizing AWS cloud revenue, citing heavy underconsumption of AI compute industry-wide. This follows Alphabet's move in April, when CEO Sundar Pichai said Google would start making its TPUs available to outside data centres through a limited customer program. Two of the three largest cloud providers on earth are now independently moving to sell their own AI chips outside their own cloud walls. That is the part that should worry Nvidia most. It is not one competitor. It is the entire hyperscaler layer simultaneously deciding they no longer need to be Nvidia's customer exclusively. Nvidia is still the dominant force today. Data center revenue rose 92% year over year to a record $75.2 billion last quarter, and Amazon itself remains one of Nvidia's largest customers, committing to deploy more than 1 million Nvidia GPUs starting in 2026. The two largest cloud companies on earth are now actively building the infrastructure to compete with Nvidia directly, using customers Nvidia currently depends on.

I think something to highlight also is not all my ideas are green, especially on short term timeframes! My core three themes are Neoclouds (Energy), Memory, and Photonics. And I'm glad I chose the literal top performers for each segment from $NBIS to $EWY leaps to $SIVE. However, I still have pretty large losses following the false analyst report on CPO delays that $NVDA refuted: That nuked 3 of my TW CPO longs from Foci, Msscorp, Xintec and others. (which are heavily red). Shunsin / Win Semi are holding up much better though. Some of the other ones in Japan that I've mentioned like Towa, Harmonic Drive, NCI, etc. are performing much better following short-term volatility. As for Korea yes I have PTSD for from Auros and now Foosung that are both both red (I didn't own 093370 though, just got PTSD watching price action). Idk if I'll touch Korea again, just way too volatile. But I still think those will end up green eventually following Sk hynix/samsung qualifications + HVM, and the future japanese supply chain shutdown. I also did change some of my previous long ideas like $XLU following the Iran War nuking all chances of rate cuts from 3-4 down to 0, and that didn't play out too well. Three software names I mentioned previously like $TTD, $META ended up red. $SNAP, I also changed my thesis after noticing the endless SBC accounting methods. $RDDT idea was finally in the green from $130 -> $170 after a long time. But I think the vast majority of my ideas like $MRVL, $NBIS, $ARM, $INTC, $MU, $LITE, SK Hynix, Samsung, for larger cap. Down to $AXTI, $LITE, $AAOI, $RPI, $IQE, and others for smaller cap positions directionally play out pretty well. With random stuff like $SIMO, $HPS.A, $TSEM, $AEHR, $LPK, $SOI, $ALRIB, and so on all ended up turning out aight too. The blended average is kinda overwhelmingly green since majority of my long ideas are triple digit YTD. But I've definitely missed a few. Also entry point is really important too... I mentioned $AAOI at $30 or $AXTI at ~$13, but not everyone has the same entry point. So if someone bought AOI at $220 and it dropped to $160, I'd feel bad. But regardless, I'd prefer to judge how ideas play out on medium term timeframes over a few months rather than a few weeks.

My wife and I were talking last night about groceries. I pulled up an old Walmart order from January 2020. 30 items. $70.20. Added every single one back to the cart today. $165.42. Same 30 items. Same store. Same cart. $95 more more in six years. They told us inflation was temporary. They told us it was under control. Then wtf happened to my grocery bills.

Here's what 10x revenue did to the best company of the last bubble. March 2000. A company becomes the most valuable on earth. It makes the essential hardware behind the defining technology of its time. Revenue growing 50% a year. The undisputed leader. The safe way to own the future. Cisco. The internet was real. The routers were real. The growth was real. At the peak it traded near 30x revenue. Then it fell 90%. It took until December 2025 to see that price again. 25 years and 8 months to break even, while the business roughly tripled its revenue. The business won. The stock took 25 years. You didn't buy the company. You bought the multiple.
