I need to know who at reaxys thinks that a) this is the standard pattern for drawing bonds, rather than defaulting to like..... just a normal straight chain? and b) that when I delete a C-C bond I want those carbons to just be floating around as methane

Spent the weekend working on a fellowship application and my biggest takeaway from the experience is that I have never and will never spell “signaling” right on the first try. There should be 2 Ls!!!

I am thankful that my university offers free, fast, and accessible testing options but am frustrated with their guidance that makes me worry that I am putting others at risk. Things would almost be easier if I tested positive at this point.

My partner tested positive yesterday and I have tested negative three times. This means that I am technically cleared for going back to work. We do not live in an apartment that allows us to adequately isolate. Do I change my exposure date every time I walk to the kitchen?

I know we all know that leaving pandemic mitigation up to individual choices and not clear and instructive policy is bad for public health, but like….it’s really bad for public health
