Oh I don’t think they signed those advertisers to be cheeky about it, but I do think they added a few things in to be cheeky about the product placement that would necessarily be in this movie no matter how it was scripted

Yes it’s always been carried by print ads and sponsors, but sponcon disguising itself as journalism has definitely become a much bigger and more annoying problem than it was in 2006

respectfully print media has always been carried by print ads and sponsors! the real problem is that the journalism that used to carry these ads is a veritable pit of slop curated by those wealthy enough to work underpaid publishing jobs. of course print media feels empty now
